WCCMT | CCMH

Testimonials

"Since graduating from CCMH, I have been working at two clinics, including the Waterloo Sports Medicine Clinic and having lots of fun doing so. I have been invited to participate on two research studies as well. Massage therapy is an amazing field to be in right now- the world is your oyster."

Nancy Howden, RMT, Graduate

"I currently have a WCCMT grad who works with me. She is the best massage therapist I have worked with. She is so good I can't get my patients in to see her in a reasonable amount of time."

Dr. T. Frackson, Chriopractor - Victoria

"I highly recommend this program as one of the best for going into the massage therapy profession.  One of the highlights of the program was working side by side with highly trained and inspiring instructors."

Michelle Jackson, Graduate

"As an American it seems incredible that I would have chosen a Canadian massage therapy school for my training.  Yet, all things considered, WCCMT promised and delivered a superior education in massage therapy that well prepared me to treat a wide population of patients/clients right out of school."

Kim Koruga-Vlas, RMT, Graduate

President's Message

“More than an Education - a Career and a Life you'll Love.”

Massage therapy is one of Canada’s fastest growing healthcare fields. In the new landscape of healthcare, amidst a challenging conventional healthcare system and the phenomenal growth of Complementary and Alternative Medicine, massage therapy is proving a new and exciting terrain.

As Canada’s leading educators in the field of registered massage therapy, the West Coast College of Massage Therapy and our affiliate colleges across Canada are poised to continue to shape and grow a promising future for massage therapy education in Canada.

The Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, the birthplace of massage therapy in Canada, is at the forefront of massage therapy education in Ontario, now home to over 8,000 therapists, many of whom are proud graduates of CCMH.

In Nova Scotia and Calgary, CCMH is setting the standard for massage therapy education and training and paving the way for graduate studies through our Articulation Agreement with Athabasca University and the University of New Brunswick.

In British Columbia, WCCMT was cited by the Financial Post as the premier college of massage therapy education on the continent. At WCCMT our students receive an exceptional education that includes laddering opportunities and career mobility through WCCMT’s pioneering of graduate pathways with public post-secondary institutions such as Thompson Rivers University.

If you are considering a career in registered massage therapy and looking for the best education available in the field today, we hope that you will join us and the thousands of graduates across Canada who for over 60 years have chosen a name and an education of distinction of which we can all be proud.

Brian Goldstein
President
